Central vacuum tank gasket and seal, dirt receptacle gasket or canister gasket. This foam / rubber band and seal is designed to replace the gasket located around the lip where the dirt receptacle of the central vacuum actually clips onto. This small layer of foam / rubber prevents loosing air and suction and is recommended to be changed every 5 to 10 years to keep the central vacuum systems's optimal power and suction.
